We partner with parents to point students to Jesus. We want to help our youth see that following Jesus, even while hard at times, leads to the true good life.

Overview

The overarching mission of Restoration Youth is no different than that of our church—we exist to make disciples that delight in the supremacy of Jesus Christ.

We also know that the youth in our church face age-specific pressures and temptations as they learn to wrestle with what it means to follow Jesus.

Restoration Youth comes alongside parents to provide a place where the young men and women in our church learn about Jesus with friends while having fun.

Spring 2024 Schedule

Youth Gatherings

Our middle and high school students meet on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month from 5-6:30 PM at the church building. We use these gatherings to study the Bible together, pray for one another, discuss the highs and lows of life, and build friendships.
Once a month, we meet for a time of fun and fellowship, engaging in a variety of on and off-campus activities.

This year, we will study the letter to the Romans, seeking to answer two questions: 1) What is the gospel? and 2) How does the gospel help us understand the world?

We use a Bible study method that asks and answers four questions:
1) What does the passage tell us about God?
2) What does the passage tell us about Jesus?
3) What does the passage tell us about Humanity?
4) How does the passage tell us to respond?

During our Sunday gatherings, we engage in an activity, study Scripture, talk about what’s going on in our lives, and pray for each other.

The youth gatherings are for young men and women in grades 6 through 12.

Throughout the year, we aim to have a few other small events, designed to create environments where students can simply have fun together and deepen relationships.

For retreats and other larger events, we partner with other like-minded churches.

We are committed to the safety of our students. Our leaders are active members who have been trained and carefully screened (including a background check), and agree to adhere to our safety guidelines.

Leadership

Under the direction of our elders, we have a few members who dedicate their time and gifts to serve our youth. We realize the benefits of students having a consistent presence of godly adults in their lives and have organized our ministry to make this a reality.
