We’ve reflected on how God interacts with the fearful disciple. We’ve studied the fear of the Lord. We’ve meditated on the God of peace. We’ve prayed through the psalms.
As we start to wrap up our theme, we’ll consider that as limited people, we all have things we love and care about that are out of our control. When the things we love are threatened, we worry, spiral anxiously, try to take control, and/or get angry. How do we start to see the heart behind our worries and stress, and begin to trust the Lord more deeply? How do we draw near to the Lord in the midst of our anxieties.
