We partner with parents to teach children about Jesus Christ and how the entire Bible tells of his redeeming grace. We strive to do this in a way that is not only faithful but also fun for the kids.

Sunday Classes

Restoration Kids provides care and offers classes for children ages 0 through 5th grade. All classes are structured environments where basic childcare is provided in a safe and secure environment. With advancement in age comes advancement in structure and content of the class.

Children of all ages are always welcome in our main worship gathering.

We have a dedicated room for mothers to use when nursing their children. If you don’t know where it is, please just ask an RKids volunteer.

The goal at this age is to create a nurturing environment which sets the foundation in young hearts that church is a place for both learning and fun. Parents can take comfort in knowing that their young children are receiving exceptional, loving care while they enjoy worship.

As with our nursery, the goal at this age is to create a nurturing environment that sets the foundation in young hearts that church is a place for learning and fun. Parents can take comfort in knowing that their toddlers receive exceptional, loving care while they attend the corporate gathering.

Children who are 3 to 5 years of age will participate in our RKids pre-kindergarten program. After about 30 minutes of play, they will receive a short lesson from the Gospel Story Bible curriculum, worship through song, and enjoy crafts/coloring.

We ask kids in Kindergarten and above to attend the first part of the worship service with their family. After being dismissed from the main worship service, these children participate in our elementary RKids program currently divided into two classes.

    • Lower: K – 2nd Grade
    • Upper: 3rd – 5th Grade

Each week, the children receive relevant Bible teaching from the Gospel Story for Kids curriculum and enjoy age-appropriate crafts/coloring.

We desire to equip parents to impart Jesus-centered, faith-building truth from the Bible, so we post free Parent Resources on our website and mobile app. The information includes the weekly passage and memory verse/song, as well as links to other resources.

What to Expect

Restoration Kids exists to make disciples of all ages and equip parents to fulfill their God-given responsibility to train their children in the “instruction and discipline of the Lord.”

Upon arrival, follow the signs to the RKids check-in station. One of our volunteers will collect some basic information about your family, like contact information and allergies.

Both you and your child will receive a matching security sticker that they’ll wear for that day, and you’ll use to pick up your child after the service. Once you’ve checked your child in once, we’ll print off unique stickers each week without you having to provide your information again.

If you need additional stickers to label diaper bags or other items you want to leave with your child, just let our volunteer know.

The children will play with one another, sing together, read Bible stories, and enjoy a fun and interactive lesson taught by our dedicated volunteers. See above for specific class availability.

After checking-in your child(ren), we ask those who are in Kindergarten through 5th grade to attend the first part of the worship service with their family/caregiver until they are dismissed to their class.

Infant – PreK: You will pick up your child in the same area in which you dropped them off. The two classes (0-2 & 3-5) are denoted by signs.

Kindergarten – 5th Grade: You will pick your child up directly from their classroom. Each class is marked by a sign. If you have trouble finding a class let one of our volunteers know and we’ll happily help you out.

For your child’s safety, you will be asked to show your security sticker to one of the RKids teachers. They will then match your sticker to the child’s sticker before releasing them.

If you happen to misplace your security sticker during service, proper identification will be required in order to match you and your child in our system before they are released.

In the event that we need to contact you during the service, we send a text to each parent/caregiver. We ask that you immediately make your way to the RKids check-in where a staff member or volunteer will direct you to your child’s room.

We are committed to the safety of your children so all of our leaders are active members who have been trained and carefully screened (including a background check). To further our safety precautions,  we use secure check-in and check-out procedures with identification badges unique to each family.

At Restoration Church, we understand that each child is unique, and we want to make sure that every child learns about Jesus in a safe and secure environment. Because of this, we have a buddy system for children with learning differences who need assistance in the classroom. If you’re a visitor and would like to utilize our buddy program for your child (birth-5th grade), please fill out this form, so that we can be sure to have a buddy ready for your child on Sunday morning.
